This is completely up to you. About half of our team work in our offices and half in our clients’. If face to face interaction and direct access to people, documents and systems are helpful, we’ll probably be in clients’ offices.
Yes, in Australia and New Zealand.
This is completely up to you. We'd prefer not to do hourly rates, unless you want that.
For legal services, we work on day, weekly or monthly rates. Some clients have access to various lawyers for a monthly fee. Sometimes fees are fixed for a matter or a case.
For continuous improvement advice, we do fixed fees and incentive structures based on the value we help you create.
For technology solutions, our products are normally monthly pay as you go with some upfront design and development costs.
Just like your business, our success hinges on the quality of our people. The main reasons that we’re fortunate to help the clients that we do are based on the quality of our people and our culture.
Our team are our employees. We have an agreement with clients to ensure our team performs and delivers what we promise.
Because our people are our employees, we take care of their employment costs – wages plus superannuation, payroll tax, insurances, incentives, leave, loadings, and professional memberships, training and certification etc.
Our lawyers are bound by numerous legal obligations. Firstly, they have their duty to the court to maintain confidentiality, no conflicts and privilege. his is also reflected in various Legal Profession Acts. We also have this explicitly addressed in our employment agreements and our Team Handbook.
For secondments, at no time does anyone from our office ask for or have access to your information about your matters.
Flexibility is key to our model. You tell us and we re-scope, and work with our team to make sure you get what you need.
We'll do our best to understand why and fix it, or there'll be no charge.
Yes of course. If time doesn’t permit or you’re happy to rely on our experience and reputation, you can always have our team member start work and, if you’re not happy in the first week, there will be no charge.
Working with lexvoco is like working with an extension of our team. They take the time to understand our business. They are commercial, responsive and easy to get along with. Anna Tichborne – General Counsel, Megaport
lexvoco is an integral partner to our fast paced, complex and entrepreneurial business. With a small in-house team, we require our external partners to operate more like an extension of our legal team with an in-depth knowledge of the business. lexvoco consistently delivers for us and are a pleasure to work with!Alice Polglase – Head of Legal, Cotton On Group
lexvoco is an excellent firm. Briefing lawyers with in-house experience has tangible benefits that begin with the brief and continue through responsiveness, quality and a commercial understanding of risk relative to the total cost. There are times when I don’t know where my legal department ends and lexvoco begins and that works for everyone, especially the client.Nick Galloway – General Counsel, ANZ and SE Asia, PPG
